I recently returned to my home here in Canada from visiting my home abroad, Colombia. The circumstances that that brought this quite sudden trip there weren't exactly the best! My mother was quite ill for a while and we didn't think she would be around very long, so I decided then it was time for me to go home and spend time with her while she was still around! To be honest I wasn't really looking forward to this trip thinking perhaps this was the last time I was going to be able to spend with my Mom, so with a heavy heart I went only to see Mom getting better and better! The news of us (me and and my daughter) coming to see her, really perked her up and she grew stronger and stronger! At the end we were able to have a really good visit and Mom though not 100% well, by the time we left was doing really, REALLY well, and her health continues to improve daily!
This bible verse tells my story perfectly! He turned my walling into dancing and clothe me with joy! To Thee Oh Lord, I give you all praise and glory!
When things go wrong, I would not be a grumbler,
Complaining, seeing everything as grim;
For when I think of how the Lord has blessed me,
I cannot help but give my praise to Him.
